JING Seafood Restaurant, One Fullerton, Singapore

Indulge in contemporary Chinese cuisine while enjoying the magnificent views of Marina Bay at JING Seafood Restaurant, located at One Fullerton, Singapore.

The restaurant was bustling on Friday evening when we were there. Our table at the alfresco terrace area faced the waterfront, hence we could enjoy dinner accompanied by the cool breeze and laser show from Marina Bay Sands (happening at 8pm, 9.30pm and 11pm daily).

View from the restaurant

Located a short walk away from the Merlion

We kicked off our meal with two of their signature specialties, the Crystal Prawns and Hong Kong Dim Sum (siew mai). For the Crystal Prawns, prawns are deep fried until crispy perfection, coated with a spicy wasabi mayo and topped with fish roe and mango. Delicious!

Steamed pork siew mai with fish roe - plump and juicy

One of my favorite dishes of the evening was this Fried Kurobuta pork chop with black pepper sauce. Kurobuta pork is considered to be equal in status with Kobe beef; it was tender and juicy, coated in a delicious, spicy sauce.

Crispy fried vegetables spring roll

Sautéed carrot cake with salted turnip - am not usually a fan of carrot cake, but this was good. :)

The Double boiled supreme chicken soup, with dried scallop, shitake mushroom and melon was rejuvenating and much-needed after a long day.

Laser show started halfway through dinner

Next to arrive was the Deep fried fresh fish in a sweet and sour sauce with diced fruits. The fish was meaty and fresh, complimented by the sweet, tangy sauce.

My favorite dish of the evening was their signature Baked baby lobster in cheese. The lobster has been precracked so it was easy to eat. Very meaty and surprisingly very good with the oozy Mozzarella cheese.

I loved the black pepper sauce with the Kurobuta pork (see above), so I enjoyed this too - Sliced tenderloin beef sauteed with asparagus in black pepper sauce.

The Seafood supreme fried rice was fantastic too - lots of wok hei for sure.... would have gone for a second helping if my tummy had more space.

For dessert, we had the Chilled aloe vera with lemongrass jelly. A nice and refreshing end to a delicious meal.

The above is part of Set Menu A, priced at S$598++ (for 8 to 10 pax).

Thanks to the Four Points Singapore team for the wonderful meal and company!
